About Us

Childrens Programs  & Education for Everyone

That's our focus. 

We are a private foundation established by the terms of the Virginia Hodgkins Somers Revocable Trust.  Since then, we have selectively granted funding to a wide variety of charitable organizations working on behalf of children and in the realm of education.

If your organization has a childrens' educational program in mind, we invite you to visit the rest of our website to view the kinds of organizations we seek to fund. If you wish to apply for a grant, the required forms can be downloaded from this website.

Important Dates

The Board of Directors has meetings at least semi-annually, in January and June, at which time pending applications are considered.  To receive consideration, an application must be received on or before the 31st day of the month preceding a meeting (May 31 and December 31). 

Only complete applications, together with all necessary attachments, may be reviewed. Contact us if you have any questions.
